Prevalence and Risk Factors of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome PCOS: Cross-sectional Study

Background: The most prevalent endocrine illness in women of reproductive age is polycystic ovarian disease. In this study, girls between the ages 18 and 30 who were vesiting maternity hospital refer King Saud, Saudi Arabia, will be assessed for poly cystic ovaries prevalence risk factors.
 Methods: There 1080 participants representing all outpatient visits over chosen period (Jul 2022 to Jan 2023). They required answer questions about their menstrual cycle symptoms hyperandrogenism on a questionnaire. Weight, height, waist, hip circumferences measured anthropometrically. Blood pressure was measured. A girl exhibits either hirsutism or irregular menstruation, both, considered probable case. All likely instances undergo thorough examinations, hormone estimations, ultrasounds.
 Results: Among girls, 191 (17.6%) had cycles, 75 (6.9%) hirsutism. According Rotterdam's criteria, found 18.9% after hormonal testing ultrasound. non-vegetarian diet, socioeconomic level I II, snacking, obesity, insufficient physical activity, prehypertension, hypertension, central self-reported emotional health issues family, substantially linked with ovaries.
 Conclusion: To lessen associated problems females, early lifestyle change education necessary.
